Mission Statement
The Dockside Preschool is about building real loving relationships with the children we serve and their families. Our hope is that each child will feel comfortable and secure when they stay with us and that parents will know that their child has been loved and taught about God’s love. The Dockside is the first point of contact for many families when they come to visit Wildwood, so initial impressions are very important to us. Our staff and volunteers selflessly serve by changing diapers, assisting children who are potty training, comforting boo boos, getting down on the floor to play, singing and being silly, calming the screamer, modeling loving hands, and teaching children to share. Our goal is to teach and instill in these "little minnows" the foundational truths of God and begin their connection to Christ.
We believe that the church is a supporting partner with the parent in the education of the preschooler. Children are our future and a precious gift from God. We are dedicated to "Catchin’ Minnows" and growing them in God’s love.
If you have any questions, concerns, or would like to volunteer, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Sunday Bible Classes
Bible teaching activities are offered during the 9:30 am and 11 am Sunday morning sessions while parents attend worship and small group Fusion Bible Study. Most classes have a regular teacher that is supported by a team of rotating parents and/or students. We ask all parents who utilize the preschool program to serve on the support team at least once a month.

3-4 Year Olds
Throughout the school year, from 6:30 pm to 8 pm on Wednesday evenings, we offer Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (AWANA) Cubbies for 3 and 4 year olds. This structured program teaches preschoolers basic Bible truths and encourages scripture memorization through game time, handbook time, and counsel time. The Cubbies materials are a great tool for parents to use at home for the spiritual development of their children.
Parent - Child Dedication
Periodically throughout the year, we provide a special time for parents who are members of Wildwood to make a commitment to join with the church in raising their child in a Christian home. This is not a christening or baptism and in no way secures your child’s salvation. We believe that each individual must first come to an understanding of who Christ is and make a personal commitment to follow Christ. We welcome infants and toddlers to participate in this dedication.
