Healing Hearts Ministries is a post-abortion support service open to anyone suffering the effects of post-abortion trauma. Everyone involved with Healing Hearts Ministries has personally experienced the tragedy of abortion. We understand the confusion, emptiness, and heartache which so often follow. All of us have had our own hearts broken by abortion and we know what it is like to ache inside. We know what it is like to try to stop thinking about it. We know what it's like to feel alone. But above all, we know that abortion is much more than an emotional problem, it is a spiritual one. In the book of Isaiah, the Spirit of God speaks of the exaltation of the afflicted.

Mission

"The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to captives, and freedom to prisoners; to proclaim the favorable year of the LORD and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn, to grant those who mourn in Zion, giving them a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified. And they shall rebuild the old ruins, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations."

The Scripture quoted above is truly a mission statement for Healing Hearts Ministries. Many of us searched high and low for solutions to our pain and torment, but inevitably we found that apart from Jesus and the Word of God, there is no healing or peace. It is for that reason that God called us to "bring good news to the afflicted...and to bind up the brokenhearted."
